OUR SCIENTIFIC KELP GROWTH LAB

In collaboration with Hastings Aquarium, we are establishing a dedicated marine laboratory equipped with 40 research tanks, as well as public display tanks within the aquarium, facilitating both rigorous scientific investigation and an engaging visual presentation of kelp growth processes.

Working with students from the University of Brighton and our in-lab team, we are testing and evaluating kelp growth methods using locally sourced spores and seawater drawn directly from the Hastings coastline.
